Scilla siberica #4

Last Saturday I went out with my camera to check some locations for any signs of spring, and found a couple of tiny Scilla siberica flowers that had started to come up. I took several shots of this particular flower, and realized I wanted a wide angle view to also capture the background. So I tried using my 25mm lens, but it didn't focus close enough (the whole plant is only a few cm high), and my thinnest extension tube instead caused it to focus too close. So I gave up and move on. On my way home I suddenly realised that I could've just freelensed the shot. So the very next day I went back, decoupled the lens and held it a few mm in front of the mount, and got the shot I wanted.
